What Can you hear?

Imagine you have a special world inside your head, even when your eyes are closed! It's like a secret playground filled with all sorts of sounds instead of toys.

Carl Jung was a grown-up who thought a lot about this inside world. He believed that even when we're quiet and close our eyes, our inside world is still busy!

The poem is asking, "What can you hear in that inside world?" Maybe you can hear the quiet hum of your own body, like a tiny little song. Or maybe you can remember the sound of your friend laughing, or your favorite song playing.

Jung thought that these inside sounds and pictures are important, like little messages from yourself. When you close your eyes and listen, you might discover something new about how you feel or what you're thinking about, even if it's just a quiet feeling.

So, just like you listen with your ears, you can also "listen" to your inside world when your eyes are closed. It's a special way to learn about yourself, just like exploring a secret playground!
